I think that book reviews about Wiccan and Pagan books can be difficult to write. Some books are based on specific traditions, some on certain mythologies - and if the reader doesn't have knowledge of this background, the book may not make sense. There are also cases where certain parts of the book may be great, like the correspondences or ritual, but other parts may be awful, like Wiccan history or spells. In writing these reviews I've tried to keep an open mind, but I am also harsh on anything that I judge as down right wrong.

Rating System

1/2 - At least the cover is nice, but that's about it.
1    - No real redeeming qualities. Read this only as an example of what not to do.
2    - Some good ideas, but poorly presented or many errors.
3    - Neither good nor bad. Simplified information or some errors.
4    - Some food for thought or new ideas; very few errors.
5    - New ideas, advanced topics, or excellent explanations of basic Wicca.
5+ - A wonderful book! One of the first I would recommend.
